Discover demand you are starting to win
Find the new searches your content is beginning to reach.
See fresh query visibility, then decide whether to deepen the ranking page or build a dedicated answer around the emerging intent.
What it finds
- New Queries shows search terms where your site started appearing in the current comparison window.
- It helps you find fresh search intent Google may be testing against your pages.
What it uses
- The data comes from the Google Search Console property you connect to SEO Signal.
- SEO Signal reads historical Search Console performance data and turns it into page, query, trend, country, and device views.
Why it matters
- Reveals new search demand your pages are starting to reach.
- Useful for expanding content before competitors occupy the query space.
From signal to decision
See the logic behind every recommendation.
SEO Signal makes the calculation visible, so your team can use the report as evidence rather than a black-box score.
- 1
The report compares query text seen in the selected period with query text seen in the previous matching period.
- 2
A query is New when it appears in the current period but did not appear in the previous period.
- 3
The report shows current clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position for each new query.
- 4
Queries with the most impressions are shown first.
- 5
Large sites can have many new queries because this view is designed to show full search-intent movement.
What to do next
Move from a report to a real SEO fix.
- Add sections, FAQs, examples, and internal links for relevant new queries.
- Create a new page when several new queries share intent that the current page only partly answers.
Read the signal in context
Important limits to check before acting.
- Search Console hides some low-volume or sensitive search data, so page totals, query totals, and site totals may not match perfectly.
- The current day is not used because Search Console data can still be incomplete.
- A result in these reports is a signal for investigation. It is not proof by itself that a page was published, deleted, penalized, or technically broken.
- New query means newly present in your Search Console comparison window, not necessarily a newly created keyword in the market.
- Low-volume queries can appear or disappear because Search Console hides some data.
