Your weekly SEO work queue
Stop guessing which SEO task deserves attention first.
Prioritize low CTR, no-click, and near-page-one opportunities using the visibility your site already has.
What it finds
- Opportunity List is the weekly SEO work queue.
- It looks for pages and queries where your site already has visibility but is missing clicks, close to better rankings, or needs stronger intent coverage.
What it uses
- The data comes from the Google Search Console property you connect to SEO Signal.
- SEO Signal reads historical Search Console performance data and turns it into page, query, trend, country, and device views.
Why it matters
- Shows where traffic can improve fastest: low CTR, striking-distance ranking, zero-click visibility, or ranking gaps.
- Turns Search Console noise into a work queue instead of making you manually hunt problems.
From signal to decision
See the logic behind every recommendation.
SEO Signal makes the calculation visible, so your team can use the report as evidence rather than a black-box score.
- 1
The report compares actual CTR with what a page or query would normally be expected to get at a similar ranking position.
- 2
Opportunities are grouped into practical types: no clicks, weak CTR, close-to-page-one rankings, and larger ranking gaps.
- 3
No-click opportunities need enough impressions to matter; otherwise they are ignored as noise.
- 4
Low-CTR opportunities are pages or queries where Google shows you often enough, but users click less than expected.
- 5
Striking-distance opportunities are rankings close enough that content improvements and internal links may move them meaningfully.
- 6
Each opportunity receives a priority score based on missed clicks, impression volume, and opportunity type.
- 7
The list focuses on the strongest items so users can act instead of reviewing hundreds of weak signals.
What to do next
Move from a report to a real SEO fix.
- Rewrite title/meta for low CTR, improve content match for ranking gaps, and add internal links for striking-distance terms.
- Assign one owner and one next action per P0 item.
Read the signal in context
Important limits to check before acting.
- Search Console hides some low-volume or sensitive search data, so page totals, query totals, and site totals may not match perfectly.
- The current day is not used because Search Console data can still be incomplete.
- A result in these reports is a signal for investigation. It is not proof by itself that a page was published, deleted, penalized, or technically broken.
- One item receives one main opportunity type, even if it has more than one possible issue.
- Opportunity score is a prioritization heuristic. It is not a traffic forecast.
