- The data comes from the Google Search Console property you connect to SEO Signal.
- SEO Signal reads historical Search Console performance data and turns it into page, query, trend, country, and device views.

- Shows whether organic performance is improving, declining, or flat.
- Helps decide which detailed report deserves attention first.

Clicks are the total number of organic clicks from Search Console during the selected period.

Impressions are the total number of times your pages appeared in Google results during the selected period.

CTR is clicks divided by impressions. It answers: when people saw your result, how often did they click?

Average position gives more influence to searches where your site was shown more often.

For position, lower is better. Moving from position 12 to position 7 is an improvement even though the number goes down.

The trend chart is built from daily site totals. Missing days inside the selected period are shown as zero, while unfinished trailing days are removed.

Core Opportunities counts the strongest page and query opportunities after low-quality or low-signal items are filtered out.

New and Lost URL cards count pages that appeared or disappeared when the selected period is compared with the previous period.
What to do next
Move from a report to a real SEO fix.
- Open the biggest declining report section when performance drops.
- Open the Opportunity List when overview metrics are stable but growth is slow.
Read the signal in context
Important limits to check before acting.
- Search Console hides some low-volume or sensitive search data, so page totals, query totals, and site totals may not match perfectly.
- The current day is not used because Search Console data can still be incomplete.
- A result in these reports is a signal for investigation. It is not proof by itself that a page was published, deleted, penalized, or technically broken.
- Page Type Summary includes an Other bucket when small page groups or hidden Search Console data cannot be cleanly assigned to one visible group.
- Country and device charts show the top values only, so shares may not sum to 100%.
