Evidence-backed Signals
Every priority comes with evidence.
Investigate the Page, Query, metric change, comparison window, related Signals, and next action in one workspace.
What it finds
- Signals groups meaningful changes and opportunities into a persistent, filterable workspace.
- Each Signal keeps priority, observed change, evidence window, and recommended action together.
What it uses
- The data comes from the Google Search Console property you connect to SEO Signal.
- SEO Signal reads historical Search Console performance data and turns it into page, query, trend, country, and device views.
Why it matters
- Keeps important changes visible after the daily brief is closed.
- Separates observed facts from possible causes that still need validation.
Example output
Signals keeps the next review visible.
Observed
Signals groups meaningful changes and opportunities into a persistent, filterable workspace.
Evidence
The data comes from the Google Search Console property you connect to SEO Signal.
Next review
Filter by Signal category and open the attached Page or Query evidence.
How it works
See how the evidence becomes a reviewable decision.
SEO Signal makes the data scope and calculation visible, so your team can use the result as evidence rather than a black-box score.
- 1
Signals are derived from changes in completed GSC performance snapshots.
- 2
Categories include growth, loss, CTR, ranking, content, new visibility, and indexing.
- 3
Priority helps order investigation; it is not a guaranteed impact score.
What to do next
Choose the next evidence-backed step.
- Filter by Signal category and open the attached Page or Query evidence.
- Use the recommended action as a review prompt, then validate before editing.
Evidence & boundaries
Important limits to check before acting.
- Search Console hides some low-volume or sensitive search data, so page totals, query totals, and site totals may not match perfectly.
- The current day is not used because Search Console data can still be incomplete.
- A result in these reports is a signal for investigation. It is not proof by itself that a page was published, deleted, penalized, or technically broken.
- A Signal does not confirm a penalty, technical failure, competitor cause, or causal relationship.
